Nitya Tyagi is the founder & director of Dev Yash Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, a firm that has taken up several key road construction projects all over India. Nitya’s foray into the construction business is ideal for everyone who is trying to figure out true passion to find the right career path.
Nitya’s profession has almost no connection with her qualification. She is a graduate from Pearl Academy in Fashion & Lifestyle Business Management. She says “Life at a young age is all about figuring out, what you want to do, some times things that attract you might not be your path ahead.” She continues “After completing graduation from Pearl Academy, I even did a course from Gemological institute of America to join my family’s jewellery business.”
Choosing A Different Road:
Nitya wanted to do something challenging and less explored. The construction domain specifically road and highway construction had almost no business leaders in India. She says “ In 2004 we Founded Dev Yash Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. We had a humble beginning with less than 50 employees. First-year was a challenge as we had a turnover of Rs 1 crore.” But with relentless effort by the team and enabled leadership the company grew exponentially and today it has a turnover of more than 200 crore. Dev Yash now employs more than 200 people and has 1000+ onsite workers working on different key infrastructure projects.
The Key Achievements Of Nitya Tyagi:
Dev Yash has bagged several key road projects under Nitya’s leadership which include the Construction of 4 lane western side spur of Rampur- Rudrapur Section connecting NH-24 to NH-27 and the construction of 4 lane spur of the Meerut- Garhmukteshwar section. During the last couple of years, the company has gained substantial growth under her leadership. Nitya says ‘Not only the company grew, but during the process, me and my team have also learned a lot.” The company has completed many other important and big projects in previous years.
